I'm a massive nerd.
This is my personal website and so it's going to reflect that. Whether that's me sharing my writeups from my most recent Capture the Flag competitions or my latest programming projects, this is my space for all my interests. That includes:
- Cybersecurity
- Technology & Innovation, especially in computer science, but not exclusively
- Cryptography and its mathematical foundations
- Business Analytics, Statistics, & Data Science
- Personal Development & Productivity (because you can't give a stats guy a ton of hobbies and not expect him to optimize how to do all of them)
I do a ton of this stuff. I break and build and tinker with technology constantly. I hack in CTF challenges as part of one of the best academic CTF teams in the US. I teach cyber defense skills to hundreds of aspiring cybersecurity professionals. I've taught combinatorics, coding, and game development to dozens of students, managed a fleet of autonomous robots, and co-created a podcast where I interviewed dozens of founders from around the world.
But I'm not all tech. My curiosity is endless and my desire to learn is insatiable. Sure, I learn a lot about cybersecurity, data science, mathematics, but my academic and professional interests intersect with economics, psychology, and beyond. I'm an avid chess player, TTRPG game master and designer, and reader with a love for history, sci-fi, fantasy, and horror.
I'm a problem solver at my core, which naturally leads me to be multidisciplinary. My diverse interests and skills make me better equipped to tackle complex technical problems, especially those that cut across domains and affect people in different ways. Cybersecurity, as an inherently complex and unsolvable problem that touches nearly every discipline and every person, is where Iām focusing my efforts.
Currently, I am an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) studying Computer Science with a minor in Business Intelligence and Analytics and a Certificate in Cyber Defense. I work as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern at Prudent Technologies and Consulting, where we've built a world-class cybersecurity practice providing advisory-led continuous penetration testing services. I also serve as a director and the Projects & Innovation Lead for the registered nonprofit and UTD student org CDRU, the Cyber Defense and Response Unit. I compete on UTD's Competitive CTF Team hosted by the Computer Security Group (CSG).
I also occasionally sleep.
In short, I keep really busy doing, in my opinion, really cool stuff. Here is where I'll share what I'm up to, what I'm learning, and how I'm figuring out how to balance it all. Check it out!
